SPORTS

The college has a big Sports Complex including a national level cricket stadium, play grounds for football, hockey, badminton, volley-ball, basket ball etc. M.D. University Inter college Women Table Tennis Tournament was organised by our College during September 3-5,2004 in the campus. The College won this Championship for the 2nd time consecutively. Four of our students represented the M.D. University in All India Inter-University Table Tennis Tournament held at Bareily during September 22-28,2004. Our College secured 3rd position in the M.D. University Inter college Men Table Tennis Tournament organised during September 8-12,2004. 28 students from our college participated in the several events of BOSM-2004 organised at BITS Pilani during Sep.16-20,2004 and won prize in two events and Ist prize in Tug of War.

CULTURAL PROGRAMS

The institute organizes and participates with full enthusiasm in various cultural fests. Youth Festival (Technical Zone) "Jhankar 06" hosted by the institute and won Over-All Trophy. Our college participated in 31 events in M.D. University Zonal Youth Festival (Technical Zone) held at Sohana during oct 04.Our students won 25 prizes including 17 first positions, 5 second positions and 3 third positions. Our two students got the first positions  in the Inter-zonal Youth Festival of M.D. University held at Faridabad during Nov 04. The students of our college participated in 3rd Tenhno-Managment fest organised by M.D. University during March 05 and secured Ist position in 7 events, 2nd in 6 events and 3rd position in 6 events of the fest. The college also won the Over-All Trophy of the fest. MCA students participated in the Tech. fest held at Faridabad and won Over-All Trophy. 

SEMINARS AND TECHNICAL FESTS

The Institute organizes various Seminars and Technical fests time to time. The Institute hosted "Wavez 06" Techno-Management fest during this year and won overall trophy in the fest. AICTE Sponsored National Level Seminar on VLSI Design & Technology was organized in the College during Feburary-05. Renowned Professors from the NIT, Universities and representative from Industry including Dr. S.G.Moodani, Ajmer, Dr. Manoj Duhan, Hissar, Dr. Rishal Singh, New Delhi, Dr. K.S. Yadav, Pilani, and others delivered lecturer in the Seminar. SEDNA-2005,Second National Level Technical Fest was organized during Febuary -05. More than 200 students of the Technical Institution from Haryana and other states  participated enthusiastically in the several events of the Fest. 

NSS UNIT ACTIVITIES

One NSS Unit of 50 volunteers is functioning in the College for last 3 years. A Rally on 'Water Conservation' was organised by the Unit on September 24,2004 on the NSS Day. A '10-days NSS Camp' was organised between February 23 and March 4, 2005 in which three rallies were organised and a number of dignitaries addressed volunteers on different topic of immense use to all during the camp.

ALUMNI AFFAIRS

RENDEZVOUS-2004, The First Alumni Meet was organised on November 10, 2004 and around 100 Alumni showed their presence in the function. 'Vaish College of Engineering Alumni Association' was also formed on that day including election of Office Bearers and ratification of the Constitution of the Association. Second Alumni Meet held on 12th Feb-06.
